We use PanTerra Streams for external and internal communications. It has the ability to have different phones for different departments. We use PanTerra Streams to communicate with clients and the outside world. It is a convenient service because we have multiple phone numbers but we have an option of having all of the phones ring at once, no matter what number is being called in case someone is unavailable to answer their line.
  • Ring
  • Internal communications
  • Voicemail to email
  • The number we dial out for each phone is different from the phone number people called and I don't know how to fix that.
  • Assigning hunt groups
  • Accessing voicemails through the app
PanTerra Streams is well suited for a small company like ours that is planning on scaling up. We have different numbers for different departments, but because we are a small company, one or two people are in charge of multiple departments. Therefore we are able to manage 5 phones all at once because they all ring at once and can be answered from any phone. This is an option that has been implemented. When we scale up, we will not have all the phones ring at once and each department will be responsible for its own phone.

We use PanTerra as a VoIP system for our medical practice. Currently, we have about 50 users both overseas and locally. It is used for inbound and outbound calls. Obviously, calls are transferred by the users to others as well.
  • I believe that we have very infrequent outages compared to other companies
  • Support is quite accessible
  • Sales is usually available when needed.
  • Balance of soft and desk phones is seamless
  • When a desk phone is put on Do not disturb or someone in a call flow logs out, the entire call flow is disrupted which is mind boggling to me.
  • Phones do go down once in a while
  • Auto attendant services can maybe use some improvement
I already recommended to a law firm which was about to go through and they backed.oit last minute because they wanted someone to install it in their office in New York

We replaced a Vertical VOIP server that was hosted on-site. Researching the alternatives to Vertical, we looked at Ubiquity, RingCental, and PanTerra. Our VOIP solution needed to provide service to 14 locations and just over 100 desktop phones, 20 wireless phones, and 10 ATAs. PanTerra provided the most features at the best price. The main feature we needed was an app that worked with the phones. PanTerra Streams works perfectly for our needs.
  • Streams App
  • Simple deployment
  • Easy management
  • Trunking could be easier
  • Teams integration
  • None other
The implementation went smoothly for the number of locations and users. Teams integration is a fairly new feature and we haven't tested it yet. Setting up auto attendants is straightforward and simple.

Cell phone users were having difficulty getting calls through. Our previous equipment was over 15 years old
  • Connections
  • Responding to questions/concerns quickly
  • Phone equipment sent timely with online and phone setup support
  • Training on use of features
  • Understanding the complex billing document
Need for understanding how to use the features.....aware that training may be available through videos, however, that is time consuming and not always an efficient method to resolve understanding needed quickly. Plugged into our phones, the service is not available when computers are turned off.....don't understand why they shouldn't have a direct ethernet connection

Panterra has been a game-changer for our company. We made the switch from a more expensive and unreliable provider, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Jonathan Polanco from Panterra Streams was exceptional in helping us transition to their service. He secured us a much more affordable plan and was incredibly patient with us during the process, which involved some complicated internal approvals. We're absolutely thrilled with the service we receive from Panterra. It's important to note that Panterra's VOIP system is highly advanced, with an impressive range of features that may initially seem overwhelming. However, once you get the hang of it, it provides unprecedented flexibility for your phone systems. Onboarding was a breeze, thanks to Brian Meuse and the rest of the onboarding team who expertly guided us through the process. Panterra's software is continually updated, and their support is lightning-fast - we're never left waiting. We're overjoyed that we switched to Panterra, and we highly recommend them to companies of any size. We have no doubt that they'll soon be the leaders of this industry. Thank you, Panterra, for everything!
  • Support
  • Robust Features
  • Timely Setup
  • Call Reporting
  • Adding 'group voicemails' to the UI
Panterra makes most sense for medium to large companies with a high call volume. They would be most able to take advantage of all of the features. Also, any company with remote employees would do very well using Panterra as most of their services are cloud/app based! It may be less suitable for small companies with limited resources and a low call volume.

We use PanTerra's VOIP for all of our telephone communications including customer service. Their system provides us with inbound call handling through the use of schedules for open hours during business days and varying messages for times we are closed. Also nice to have the software direct call forwarding and customer and vendor messaging.
  • Cost effective solution
  • Less complex software than other systems
  • Responsive customer support
  • Software is not as customer friendly as other similar providers
  • Some simple processes are overly complex
  • Billing is confusing
We converted from another company. PanTerra is our 4th VOIP provider. All have had positives and negatives. We like PanTerra presently as they are more reliable than some of our past providers and are significantly cheaper than all of the others we have used. Although we have had other software that is easier to use, theirs is simple enough and they help you get it all set up at the start so it is easy to maintain after that.

We use Streams for our VoIP system. Text messaging, direct intercompany messaging, and the phone app are our favorite features this system offers.
  • Customer Service.
  • Customer Support.
  • Ease of Use.
  • The fax feature is a bit cumbersome. Oftentimes we have more than one document to send in a transmission, and this system does not have the capability to add more than one attachment to a fax. Combining all branches into one document is time-consuming.
The SMS feature is a favorite - knowing it is a secure line is very helpful.

We use the phone system and streams app for users in the office and to work from home. It allows us to send calls to user cell phones or to take their office phone home with them. We also have a paging adapter set up to page office phone and the warehouse intercom system
  • Routing of calls
  • Easy access to voicemail messages on cell phone or email
  • User interface is easy to use
  • Admin console is easy to use
  • At this time I have no issues that I need any improvement or additional functionality for
PanTerra Streams addressed our work from home phone problems during the Covid pandemic and continues to do so. Call routining can be managed through a browser or the streams app. The initial set up was easy and the customer service is timely and always accurately addresses any question I have

I've been using PanTerra for several years now to manage all of our office phones through their cloud PBX system and I'm impressed with the results. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to set up and manage our phones. The cloud-based nature of the system allows us to access our phone system from anywhere, providing us with the flexibility to work from home or on the go. One of my favorite features of PanTerra is the integration with other tools such as Google G Suite and Microsoft Office 365. This makes it easy to manage my contacts, emails, and calendars, all from one place. The video conferencing is another standout feature, providing us with a seamless and efficient way to communicate with clients and colleagues. Overall, I highly recommend PanTerra for anyone looking for a comprehensive and reliable cloud-based phone system. The customer support has been excellent, and I've had no issues with the platform thus far. I believe it's a great investment for any organization looking to streamline their communication and increase productivity.
  • Reliability/uptime

  • More documentation for customizing the platforms streamlets
Scenarios where PanTerra Streams is well-suited: Remote work: With its cloud-based nature, PanTerra Streams allows teams to work from anywhere and collaborate in real-time, making it well-suited for organizations with remote workers. Small to medium-sized businesses: PanTerra Streams provides a cost-effective solution for small to medium-sized businesses looking to improve their communication and collaboration processes. Organizations with a dispersed workforce: PanTerra Streams helps organizations with a dispersed workforce to improve communication and collaboration among teams, departments, and locations.Scenarios where PanTerra Streams may be less appropriate:Organizations with strict security and compliance requirements: PanTerra Streams may not be the best fit for organizations with strict security and compliance requirements, as the cloud-based nature of the platform may raise concerns about data privacy and security. Large enterprises: While PanTerra Streams can be used by larger organizations, it may not be the most suitable option for large enterprises with complex communication and collaboration needs, as the platform may not be scalable enough to meet the demands of such organizations. Organizations with limited internet connectivity: The cloud-based nature of PanTerra Streams requires a stable and reliable internet connection, making it less appropriate for organizations with limited internet connectivity.

PanTerra is our phone and fax system
  • support

  • issues with robo calls
  • not enough memory for blocking calls
  • Voicemails and faxes going to junk folders
Being in the cloud we are getting numerous spam calls, I have been with the company for over 7 years and have never seen anything like this. The other day I contacted support about no dial tone on two of the phones and was told the devise was showing up as no registered and to reboot the system. Which I did and it still did not help so instead of stepping me through other scenarios I was told to get in touch with our IT. I told Brandon that it was not an IT issue. He was not much help and so I called through and the person I spoke with took me through other steps and got the phones up and running. I let Brandon know John got the problem fixed and his response was glad we were able to help you. Had I not called John the phones probably would still not be working. Thanks John for all of your help.

I use PanTerra Streams on a daily basis to reach out to clients and do business. We use it from individual phones to our Call Center support lines. We have been using their Streams softphones for more than 5+ years.
  • Their tech support is fast and very knowledgeable.
  • They are willing to reach out and go beyond with their development.
  • We have had very little down time with Panterra.
  • Their Streams Softphone is good but could use some tweaking to make it better.

As a customer we use PanTerra Streams to improve communication and collaboration between departments, streamline processes, and ensure that all city information is organized and easily accessible. PanTerra Streams can address business problems such as poor communication between departments. Since using this product it has helped our city improve efficiency, reduce confusion, and ensure that all employees have access to the information they need to do their job effectively.
  • Phone System management
  • Voicemail menu and recording
  • User management and UI
  • Changing User Names
  • Creating groups
  • Streamline settings/options
PanTerra Streams is well suited for phone systems and communication services. Our city uses this system in all of our departments. It is not well suited for mobile devices, because it does not have a stand alone mobile system. Although they do provide an app for connecting to voicemail and text based chats.

We were with another VOIP provider that was charging us an exorbitant amount of money for services we never used. We were so glad to find that PanTerra Streams offers packages with only the features that we need and will use for A LOT less money per month. We have had the service for approximately a year and have not had any issues at all. We are completely satisfied customers. I have recommended it to others and will continue to do so.
  • Easy to use
  • No unused features
  • Only pay for what we use
  • Perhaps continue to improve the desktop app
We don't need a ton of features and some of our staff isn't "technology savvy" so we needed to make sure that the system was easy to use, for everyone. This one sure is! They have tons of features available, however, we only need a few, so that is all we pay for.

We have several office lines and 3 different companies. We each have our own line in/out. We make 100's of outbound calls daily. The only issue we have ever had is setting up groups and phone options for customers; we have yet to figure it out. The information is on the website, but it is written for people with an understanding of how the technology works, not very user friendly for those who are not tech savvy. setting up and/or changing users is also pretty difficult and requires a call to customer service for help. Onboarding and customer support is always wonderful when we do reach out. The dashboard is great to view activity from all lines and to make sure things are working correctly.
  • The onboarding support is phenomenal. Handholding and explaining was perfect
  • Real time status on all lines and users
  • Hardware has never had any issues
  • The streams website is very hard to navigate regarding user names and roles
  • Setting up group voicemails and phone options is very hard to understand
  • The tutorials on the website or not easy to understand
Panterra is a wonderful service and very low cost for what they offer, compared to other companies. My only gripe is that the user guides are not helpful. They are broad and meant to help everyone depending on the service they have. The problem with that is when you have someone that doesn't fully understand exactly the products/service we have we end up reading pages of guides and learn nothing. If it were more basic and user friendly to those not in the industry it would be more helpful.

We use Streams as our VOIP system, replacing a previous product from a competitor. The primary reason we switched is the ability to implement a call rotation. We have configured our system such that it rings one primary phone, then adds in multiple phones, before ringing all phones. We desire to have a live answer on all calls rather than an auto attendant, which is why the call rotation was needed.
  • Call quality has never been an issue that I can recall even once.
  • We love the integration with our Outlook presence through SmartBox. We integrate with Teams, and so the ability for it to change status when on a call makes it much easier on our team.
  • Voicemail to e-mail integration was a must for us, and that works to a T.
  • The call rotation is limited to only three hunt groups. We had hoped to add more.
  • The system we had come from allowed us to distribute SMS texts to the primary number to all users. This one lacks that capability.
I'm not certain that I can think of a scenario where it is not appropriate. I suppose it would not be appropriate for solutions that do not have a strong internet connection. VOIP in general would not be appropriate for those types of companies/users. It feels well-suited for any other scenario from what I've seen in our use. I believe it to have a particularly strong connection with Teams, either alongside it or using the integration module that allows Teams to be used as the front end. We haven't used that, but I know the functionality is there.

Panterra Streams is our IP phone service provider, addressing the communication needs of our team spread out across three states and several countries.
  • Secure IP-based phone system that offers flexibility for remote employees
  • Customer service that supports our team well
  • Phone app has significant delays and issues when transferring calls
  • back-end can be complicated -- although it is powerful -- but that is mitigated by excellent customer service
If you are able to mostly rely on IP-phones, or a computer-based connection, then it will work well. If you are reliant on the mobile app working reliably and without delay, then you will encounter frustrations.

Panterra is our communication system between 2 locations and intraoffice and of course to our customers and vendors. We have 28 extensions, a paging system and a FAX machine that have all been integrated by Panterra. We are able to customize who can call internationally to control costs. Easily transfer calls between personnel and conduct conference calls.
  • Attended or un-attended answering of incoming calls
  • Transfer calls to appropriate person
  • Integrates with cell phones for always available
  • Keeps a log of phone calls
  • Allows me to use messaging on my phone system and desktop
  • Allows me to manage user accounts
  • If I had any complaint it might be that the admin requires some technical ability. If we don't use it regularly, we forget how to edit accounts. If it could be designed more user friendly to people that are not phone terminology savvy, it would be helpful
I spent 2 years testing various VOIP services. All of them lacked the ability to actually do what they claimed. We had many crashes, failed calls, failed features. Immediately upon testing Panterra it was a hit! They did exactly what they claimed and offered more features than the other guys. All of it's listed features work well like conference calling, call forwarding, cell phone app, up time.

We use PanTerra Streams for all our inbound and outbound calls and online meetings with video. We use the smart box feature to securely store files and allow teams to have access to information. In addition, we use the SMS features for quick conversations with clients that don't require an extended phone call.
  • Setup and maintenance is super easy.
  • Phone quality is superb.
  • Support is awesome and 24x7!
  • In my opinion, after hours support should be English-speaking and USA-based.
  • Onboarding specialists sometimes don't follow through from start to finish.
  • Billing is difficult to work with on occasions.
It's well suited in probably any environment from 5 users to 500 users. Scalability is simple and flawless. Working directly with account managers is excellent and getting discounts on hardware and term contracts is great! It's even a great service and product for when a client has 2 organizations in one office and uses one of the phones, which can accommodate 2 organizations at the same time.

We use streams interface as a tool to communicate as a team within the office and with our customers outside of the office via text. Since our customers are companies that manufacture parts they are often busy and do not have time to speak on the phone. With the world relying on text being the main form of communication now, this has made keeping in contact with our customers much easier. Making changes to our system has been a breeze as well with the admin portal being available. Customer support is hardly needed, but when we need them, they are prompt to take care of any issues via chat in the streams interface,
  • Internal/External Communications
  • Customer Support
  • Ease of system use
  • Good IP phone service, no dropped calls, maintenance is always done to not interrupt our work day
  • Being able to navigate creating a custom team and manage it
  • Removing old conversations that are no longer needed. It is not an option
  • Service sometimes is not the best using the app, but is functional still
Coming from an unreliable system previously, using PanTerra has been a night and day difference. The system migration was fool proof and the dedicated associate you get when onboarding really makes everything seem smooth. After the fact, using the system was a breeze and can be very user friendly.

We use PanTerra Streams on multiple floors of our 22-story building. We needed a company to provide a system that would migrate into our everyday business, and we found it. We a very happy with the cellphone aspect. I can answer my office phone from anywhere cell service will allow. The Admin portal on the desktop makes it very easy to change certain settings when someone leaves or is hired into the company. Overall, we are very happy with the decision.
  • Cellphone integration.
  • Interoffice Chat.
  • Multimedia team messaging.
  • I have not had an issue with something not working.
I was on vacation, multiple states away and the fact that my cellphone houses the Streams app and allows me to answer my office phone was such a big help.
